Honoring WWII Vets at their Memorial

Honor Flight of Springfield, OH, founded by Earl Morse, along with HonorAir out of North Carolina and Hero Flight based in Utah, have flown 891 WWII vets to the World War II Memorial in Washington, DC. Their combined goal in 2007 is 5,000 veterans. According to the Ohio VFW News, the VFW Ohio Charities donated $20,000 to Honor Flight last year.
